Owner/Funeral Director
Chris Grayson is a third generation funeral director having graduated from New Washington High School in 1975. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Bethel University in McKenzie, TN where he graduated in 1979. In 1981, he graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service with and Associate Degree in Funeral Service. He was inducted into the Bethel University Athletics Hall of Fame in 1998. Chris is a member of the board of directors of the Charlestown Excellence in Education Foundation (CEEF), and is a member of the North Charlestown Church of God. He is married to the former Karen Beal and they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Michael Grayson (Nicole) of Charlestown who is also a funeral director and their children Christian and Reagann, Michelle Cecil (Clint) of Louisville, KY who has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, and their sons Grayson and Beckham, and Stephen Grayson (Katie) of Monticello, IN who is an Indiana State Trooper assigned to the Lafayette post and their children Leah, Greer and Wesley.
Funeral Director
Mark Crane, a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Indiana and Kentucky started his career in funeral service in 1979 with his family's firm the former Poindexter & Son Funeral Home in Odon, IN until 1987. In 1987 Mark and his family moved to Madison, IN to work at the former Vail-Holt Funeral Home until 2006 at which time he joined the staff of Grayson Funeral Home. Mark is married to the former Vickie Niemann Davidson and they have 5 children, Breanna, Brittany, Brenton, Aimee, and Andrea. Mark is a graduate of North Daviess High School in Elnora, IN attended Tri-State University and was in the first graduating class from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, IN in 1981. Mark and Vickie are members of Northside Christian Church and enjoy restoring their old Cape Cod and traveling around the country visiting all their grandchildren.
Funeral Director
Danny and his family relocated to Southern Indiana in the fall of 2013 from London, KY. He and his wife Rhonda (Bell) have one son Brody (Alexis) and twin granddaughters, Emmie and Ellie. Danny graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service with an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science. Danny began his career in the funeral industry in Charlestown at B&G Mortuary Service with Jason Brownfield and Michael Grayson. Danny is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in both Indiana and Kentucky. He also holds a Kentucky Crematory Operator Certificate. Danny and Rhonda enjoy going to estate/yard sales to find forgotten treasures from the past.
Program Director
David had worked for our family previously and has recently
rejoined our firm as Program Director. David is originally from Paulding, OH
and joined our firm in 2009. He has earned a degree in Mortuary Science, as
well as his Master’s in Business, and has also completed one year of his
doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Indiana Wesleyan University. David currently lives in Sellersburg with his wife, Cassie and their three
children: William, Piper, and Declan. They are members of St. John Paul II
Catholic Church in Sellersburg and enjoy spending as much family time together
as possible.
Office Manager
Leslie Ingram, born and raised in Clark County, Indiana. She is a graduate of Charlestown High School and attended College of Business & Economics at University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. Leslie is married to Ron Ingram and they have two children and two grandchildren. A daughter, Kimberly Wright and her husband Kevin have two daughters, Ruby Louise and Willa Kay; and a son, Ryan Ingram, and they all reside in Charlestown, Indiana. She is a member of New Hope Community Church and Blazing Bright Eastern Star Chapter # 597; and serves as a Board member of the Greater North Clark Health Foundation.
