Wanda L. Vest

Wanda L. Vest 82, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday September 10, 2021, at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, IN.

She was born on May 27, 1939, in Jeffersonville, IN to Clarence Edward and Clara J. Roberts.  Wanda worked for the Charlestown Housing Authority for over 45 years.  Her favorite things in life were her grandchildren and shopping and she loved to just get in the car and go!

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Rick Vest and Roger Vest; a grandson, Jared Vest; brother, Charles Roberts and sister, Margaret Lush.

Survivors include her children, Sherry and Jeff Tribbey, Kevin Vest, John (Chico) Vest, Laura Dabney and Angela and Chris Pevelor; her brother, George and Pam Roberts; sister-in-law, Denise Roberts; grandchildren, Julie Fender, Steven Vest, Tyler Vest, Brent Dabney, April Wright, Shawn Coy, Shane Vest, Heather Ortiz, Lacey Vest, Desiree Peveler, Christopher Peveler, Tiffany Pollock, Tabitha Smith, Jessie Vest and several great grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday September 15, 2021, at the Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Wednesday.
