Wanda Hulbert Obituary

Wanda Marie Hulbert was born March 13th 1957, in the year of well made cars-as she would say.
Entered into rest- March 1st 2021, on a beautiful morning holding her husband’s hand.
She was 63, although most people, including her, would have you believe that she was much younger.
Wanda would like everyone to know that she received an invitation this morning, a new opportunity awaited her, that her work here is finished.  The sign on bonus and perks that came with this new position were something that she simply could not pass up. The perks of this new journey include an eternity of wonder and love, in a beautiful location perfectly made just for her, and a great family reunion with her Parents and loved ones that she hasn’t been able to visit in a very, very long time, enveloped by the greatest love imaginable.  She promises that she will remain in contact with you, in her own unmistakable way.  She asks you to Carpe Diem. (Seize the Day). She wishes to convey that she loves each and every one of you, very much, and always will.
Her loved ones here will surely miss her, as she was a compassionate, loving and larger than life force, full of laughter that loved her family unconditionally.  She was a natural caregiver, and for the wonderful lessons that she taught us, and gifts she gave us, we will forever be grateful.
Wanda is survived by her husband Jay Hulbert of Henryville; their children, Bradley Campbell Charlestown, Jeremy Campbell (Jaime) New Washington, April Campbell New Albany, Jason Hulbert (Elizabeth) Washington D.C, Jennifer Hulbert(Robert) Evanston, IL and 9 grandchildren who thought that she was the best Gramma.
Her sister, Elizabeth Bates-Watkins of Charlestown, IN; brothers, Lloyd (Jackie) Bates of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Ray Bates of St. Louis, MO; and a brother-in-law, Lindsey Hulbert of Chicago IL.
In respect of her wishes cremation was chosen, with a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy can be made by planting her favorite flower around your home, to enjoy their wonderful colors. Her favorite flowers are impatiens, a sturdy and majestic flower, as she will forever be.
