Ruth Anita (Jones) Davidson

Ruth Anita Davidson, 84 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her residence.

Ruth was born on December 23, 1933 in Clark County, IN the daughter of Johnny Herbert and Helen Jane Goforth Jones. She retired after several years from ICI
Americas. Ruth was an active member of the Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown at which she enjoyed serving, cooking and when the church was open she would always be there and also enjoyed watching UK basketball.

Survivors include her, daughters, Anita Chadwell(Jerry) of Palmyra, IN and Linda Hogue of California; son, Rex Davidson(Naomi) of Clarksville,  IN; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. Charles Jones of Charlestown; sister Josephine Davidson of Charlestown; daughter-in-law, Millie  Casey of Jeffersonville. Ruth was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, William Davidson; brother, Buford Jones; sisters, Ruby Crider, Lavone Kemple, Jeanetta Mattingly; son-in-law, Rick Hogue; son, Steve Casey.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at a 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Owen Creek  Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 P.M. to 8 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Ruth may take the form of donations to Main Cross Baptist Church.
