Roy K Smith

Roy K. Smith 80, of Jeffersonville, IN. passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, January 5, 2023.  He was born on June 22, 1942, in Bloomfield, KY. to the late Ernest Alvin and Mary Kate Brown Smith.  Roy worked as a custodian for the Greater Clark County School System until he became disabled.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, watching westerns, and sipping on Seagram’s 7.

Roy is survived by his only daughter, Kim Smith-Keith (Tim Baker); his grandchildren, Destiny Keith (Jake), Waylin Keith (Morgan), and Journey Keith; his great-grandchildren, Jacqulyn Keith, and Griffin Harper; his sister-in-laws, Jacqie Smith and Kieran Smith; and a brother-in-law, Donnie Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Harold D. Smith, and Norman B. Smith; and his sister, Wilma C. Nelson.

Memorial visitation for Roy Smith will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN.
