Ronald Lamont Fields

Ronald Lamont Fields 72, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Friday September 10, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

He was born on July 17, 1949, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Richard H. and Geraldine Jefferson Fields. Ronald was a member of the Bethel A.M.E. church in Jeffersonville and was a retired Probation Officer in Fort Wayne, IN and a retired UPS employee.

He is survived by his wife Antia Fields; daughter, Veronica Johnson and her husband Daniel of Atlanta, GA; step sons, Brian Coleman and his wife Stephanie of Florida and Dana Coleman and his wife Bridgette of Florida; sisters, Beverly Watkins of Fort Wayne, IN, Marcia Fields of Dayton, OH and Monica Fields of Austelle, GA; grandchildren Danielle Johnson and Jocelyn Johnson both of Atlanta, GA, Kelsey Coleman, Audrey Coleman, Addison Coleman, Dana Coleman and Noah Coleman all of Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday September 14, 2021, at Wesley United Methodist Church at 1201 Thomas Bryant Drive Jeffersonville, IN 47130 with burial in Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville.  Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church.
