Robert Cleo Fry

Robert Cleo Fry passed away peacefully in his sleep April 27, 2020 at the age of 91. He was born April 19, 1929 to Mary Winona & Floyd Fry.  He served in the U.S. Army, 354th Engineer Construction Battalion and was stationed in Japan.  He married Jeanette Jane McCune on March 14, 1951.They were married 63 years and had 2 sons.  Bob was employed by Colgate Palmolive before and after his Army service where he worked as a chemical worker and was a union representative.  After retirement he spent his time gardening, entertaining and being entertained by his grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife Jane Fry and son Harry Fry: his parents, Mary Winona and Floyd Fry; his brothers, Floyd Fry, Melvin “Pete” Fry and sister, Iva Hagan. 

Bob is survived by his son Robert Fry (Teri): grandchildren, Alex & Logan Fry: daughter in-law, Nancy Fry: grandchildren, Kellie, Christopher & Patrick Fry. He is also survived by his sister, JoAnn Richardson and sister in-laws, Elsie and Marcia Fry as well many nieces and nephews.  He will be sorely missed.

Cremation has been chosen. A celebration of his life will not be held at this time but at a later date as circumstances permit. Donations in his memory can be made to American Legion Post 35.
