Phillip Stone Poindexter, 67 of Floyds Knobs, IN passed away on Wednesday June 9, 2021.

He was born on September 7, 1953 in New Albany, IN to Lloyd and Doris Merten Poindexter. He was a former welder and was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Priscilla Poindexter.

Phillip is survived by his daughter, Jessica Poindexter of Evansville, IN; sisters, Rebecca Poindexter of Floyds Knobs, Melissa Thompson (Gary) of Sellersburg, IN, Robin Bottorff (Dale) of Charlestown, IN and Kimberly Carroll of Floyds Knobs; brothers, Leon Poindexter (Linda) of Underwood, IN, Anthony Poindexter (Sharon) of Marengo, IN and Michael Poindexter (Leah Ann) of Otisco, IN; grandchildren, Brandon, Christina, Kristopher, Kelsey, Joshua, Justin and Taya; great grandchildren, Alec and Ares.

Cremation was chosen and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
