Norma Louise (Dean) Wright

Norma Louise Wright 95 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2022, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.

She was born on April 24, 1927, in Underwood, IN to Grover J. and Mary Jane Elzea Dean.  Norma was a retired factory worker and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and growing flowers along with eating out at Cheddars, Tumbleweed and especially at DQ.

Norma was preceded in death by husbands, Wilmer Forrest Amick and Thomas Allen Wright, Sr., her children, William J. Amick, Thomas A Wright, Jr., and Kimberly Ann Wright; her grandchildren, James Lee Cissell, Jr., and Jason Christopher Cissell.

Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Cissell of Jeffersonville, IN, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in New Market Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
