Obituary
Lera J. Jenkins, 39 of Charlestown, IN. passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg. She was born on November 4, 1983, in Jeffersonville, IN to James R. and Sandra Atwood Jenkins. Lera was a C.N.A. and worked for Visiting Angels. She enjoyed working with children, crocheting, gardening, and Karaoke. Spending time with her children and family was her favorite.
Lera is survived by her husband, Roger McIntosh; her mother, Sandra Jenkins; her children Justin Moore, Waylon Moore, Lena McIntosh, and Lylah McIntosh; by her siblings, Cathy Zeihn, James R. Jenkins Jr, and Patricia Chester; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and infant son, Roger P. McIntosh II.
Lera’s wishes were for cremation. The family will have a memorial celebration at a later date.
