LaNiaka Ivie Carlisle

LaNiaka Ivie Carlisle 22, of Nabb, IN. passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Norton Hospital Downtown in Louisville, KY.

She was born on January 23, 2001, in Jeffersonville, IN. to LaRue and Linda Louise Faulkner Carlisle.  LaNiaka was a performing artist and enjoyed giving, singing, writing, animals, hunting, searching for ginseng, socializing, and being outdoors.  She was a free spirit with a big heart.

LaNiaka was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Carlisle, and grandparents, Anthony W. Faulkner, and Alex Carlisle.

Survivors include her father, Larue Carlisle, her siblings, Kenneth Mobley III, Atraill Carlisle, Tanner Carlisle, Tabitha Smallwood, Sam Carlisle, and Misty Carlisle, and her grandparents, Norma and Ronnie Jones, and Frances Carlisle; her fur babies, Daydro, Angel, Rosie, and Ellie; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN. with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. on Thursday also at the funeral home.
