Kenneth Edward Pollard

Kenneth Edward Pollard, 80, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Baptist Health New Albany.

He was born on April 19, 1940 in Clark County, IN to  Robert and Virgie Lee Hall Pollard.  Kenneth was a retired employee of Navistar/International Harvester and a former employee of LabCorp.  He was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church, the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge # 226 and Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.  Kenny adored his sweet Karolyn, dancing, gardening, bird watching, I.U. Basketball, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Reds, Bluegrass Music, his deep love of family and friends and his hometown of Charlestown.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Pollard; brothers, William Pollard and Charles Pollard; sisters, Anna Mae Maddox, Barbara Tindle, Dorothy Miller and Roberta Stein.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Kelli (Danny) Stamper of Charlestown, IN;  son, Kenneth  Pollard of Cheaspeake, VA; sister, Marcia (Larry) Perry of Killeen TX; loving companion, Karolyn Yager-Edstrom of Crestwood, KY, grandchildren, Sydney Pollard of Cheaspeake, VA, Dannetta (Chris) Stamper of Charlestown, Joey (Leslie) Stamper of Charlestown; great grandchildren, Gunner and Ryder Stamper.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 15, 2020 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from  12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday.

Masonic services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
