Judy Kay Cunningham, 80, of New Washington, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on June 20, 1941, to Stanley Clifford and Dorothy Hammond Bower. She was a retired supervisor of the US Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, IN, a member of New Hope Christian Church, and enjoyed playing bingo, scratch-off lottery tickets, watching Criminal Minds, Law and Order, and NCIS.
Judy is survived by her sons, Patrick Willey (Angela Colwell) of Charlestown, and Randy Willey (Tammy) of New Washington; brother, Larry Bower (Donna) of North Carolina; her son-in-law, Keith Hockensmith; grandchildren, Jenise Stewart (Corey), Samantha Montgomery (Jiah Lock), April Dabney, Emily Willey, Erin Willey, and Stanley Willey; nine great-grandchildren, her cat Callie and many more friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Cindy Hockensmith; her sister, Barbara Clampitt, and her first husband, James ‘Bud’ Willey.
Life Celebration Services for Judy will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, beginning at 12:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again Saturday from 10:00 am until service time also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington.
