John Scales Obituary

John Bruce “Corky” Scales 78, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Sunday August 29, 2021, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.

He was born on January 29, 1943, in Louisville, KY to Raymond M. and Catherine Shannon Scales. He was a United States Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS ATKA, an architectural designer by trade, Past President of the Jeffersonville Optimist Club, member of the Evening and Breakfast Club, Clark County Conservation Club, American Legion Post 204 in Sellersburg, IN and a member of the USS ATKA Association.

Corky is survived by his wife, Carole Stone Scales; sons, Brent Scales of Jeffersonville, Bryan Scales and his wife Medina of Rushville, IN, brother, Sam Scales, of Sebring, FL and grandson Bryson Scales.

Cremation was selected and no services are scheduled at this time.
