James Allen Stutesman

James Allen Stutesman 62 of Nabb, IN passed away on Monday April 22, 2024, at his home.

He was born on December 8, 1961, in Jeffersonville, IN to Robert and Freda Robison Stutesman.  He was a former heavy equipment operator, plumber, over the road trucker and a farmer. 

He enjoyed traveling, especially through the country, cutting wood, fishing and hunting, watching The Price is Right, and supporting the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Hoosiers.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stutesman, Sr.

James is survived by his wife, Melinda Blackford Stutesman; sons, Joshua Stutesman (Lauren) of Charlestown, IN, Bradley Stutesman of Charlestown; mother, Freda Stutesman of Marysville, IN; step-daughter, Morgan Sampson (Matt) of Charlestown; brothers, David Stutesman (Yvonne) of Charlestown, Tommy Stutesman of Bethlehem, IN, Robert Stutesman, Jr., (Lisa) of Otisco, IN; sisters, Lora Eickholtz (Virgil Cochran) of Deputy, IN, Donna Hammer of New Washington, IN; grandchildren, Kennedy and Emerson Stutesman, Malakye and McKinley Sampson.

Life Celebration Services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday April 30, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday and after 10:00 am on Tuesday.
