Obituary
James Darrell Kinder 67, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his home.
Jim was born on June 11, 1954, in Louisville, KY to Clyde and Violet Nicklies Kinder. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Charlestown and was a former employee of General Electric and a retired senior mechanical engineer from Carrier Vibrating Equipment in Louisville, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Diana Beckort and a brother Robert Kinder.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Willinger Kinder; daughters, Cindy Stone (Rodney) of Charlestown, Jessica Sarver (Robert) of Marysville, IN, Jennie Lathem (Daniel) of Marysville, IN; son, David Kinder (Laura) of Sellersburg, IN; brother, Rick Kinder (Debbie) of Charlestown; sister, Marilyn Fellows (Steve) of Nabb, IN; grandchildren Kye Stone, Ava Lathem, Maelyn Sarver, Addy Lathem, Isaac Kinder, Lucas Kinder, Quinn Sarver, Easton Lathem, Case Stone, Iree Sarver, and Kain Stone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and 9:00 - 9:30 am on Thursday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.
