James C Higdon

James C. Higdon 85 of New Washington, IN passed away on Sunday June 5, 2022, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Jim was born on June 25, 1936, in Kentucky.  He was owner and operator of Higdon Heating and Air in New Washington and a United States Air Force Veteran.  Jim enjoyed going to air shows in Dayton and Cleveland, working and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Melanie Ross Higdon; son, Greg Higdon (Kim) of Hanover, IN and his daughter Sheila Speigelhalder of Charlestown, IN; brother, William Higdon of Louisville, KY; sisters, Nell Clark of California, Linda Bradley of Rhineyville, KY, Shirley Baumann of Jeffersonville, Rose Henry of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, James Speigelhalder, Cassey Higdon, Grace Nix and Sean Speigelhalder and a great grandson Tobias Nix.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday June 9, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and after 9:00 am on Thursday.
