Iva Dell (Gribbins) Graebe

Iva Dell Graebe 80 formerly of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday March 23, 2024, at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, IN.

She was born on September 1, 1943, in Louisville, KY to Eugene and Mae James Gribbins.  She was a retired Corrections Officer at the Clark County Jail and a member of Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Graebe; sisters, Elizabeth Goodin and Deborah Griffin; brother, Kenneth Gribbons.

Survivors include her daughters, April Elnikar (Stanley) of Streetsboro, OH, Crystal Waters (David) of New Washington, IN; brothers, Donald Gribbins of Kentucky, Timothy Gribbons of Louisville; sisters, Sharon Copeland of Texas, Charlotte Leffler of Florida, Linda Griffin of Louisville, Mary M. Hobbs of Clarksville, IN; grandchildren Kasey Waters, Randi Harbin, Rhalina Foster, Dakota Colby, Sawyer Colby; great grandchild, Zabryna Foster.

Life Celebration Services will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Hibernia Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and after 9:00 am on Friday.
