Elizabeth Smith Obituary

Elizabeth O. “Libby” Smith 92 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

She was born on June 5, 1930, to Joseph C. and Martha E. Stone Badger. She was a loving mother and homemaker and a member of North Charlestown Church of God.  Libby enjoyed spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren.  She also enjoyed watching several ministers preaching on TV especially Rev. Billy Graham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Mullins of Charlestown; son, Paul Smith of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Amy Lanum (Chad), Ashley Harker (Ben), Kyle Mullins (Danielle), Dustin Smith (Rebecca) and Lewis Griffin (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Gracie and Laynie Greene, Hudson Harker, Rylie and Colton, Xavier Lanum, Landry, Adele and Rhett Mullins and Bayleigh Griffin.

Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday August 8, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday and after 10:00 am on Monday.
