Dale E. Compher

Dale E. Compher, 72 of Otisco, IN passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, IN.

Dale was born on July 29, 1949, in Cuyahoga Falls, OH the son of Donald D. and Veranetta Simcoe Compher. He was a retired truck driver, a member of the Sellersburg, IN American Legion and the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association. Dale enjoyed many things during his life especially tinkering with small engines and working with leather.

Dale is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Compher; daughters, Linda Hall and Sherrie Doyle and her husband Bobby all of Charlestown, IN; sons, Richard Nickolich and his wife Becki of Charlestown, IN and Shawn Compher and his wife Misty of Otisco, IN; brothers, David Compher of Freeport, OH and Doug Compher of Crystal River, FL; sisters, Vickie Campbell of Owensboro, KY and Vonna Workman of Massillion, OH; grandchildren, Bryan, Kaine, Addison, Michael, Heather, Gabe, Zach, Josh, Angel, Amber, Alexis and Abigale; great-grandchildren, Adrian, Hunter, Mason, Kaiser, Ayla, and Ella; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Dawn Seabolt; son-in-law, Jeremiah Hall.

Life celebration services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Monday to 1:00 P.M.
