Catherine 'Cathy" (Wilson) Cochran

Catherine ‘Cathy’ Cochran, 57, of New Washington, IN. passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 14, 2022.  She was born on July 10, 1964, in Louisville, KY. to Robert and Alberta Horsley Wilson.

Cathy worked at the Madison State Hospital for 23 years as a psychiatric attendant.  Her favorite hobby was shopping and spending time with her family.  She enjoyed crafting, riding on the side by side, crocheting, and loving on her grandbabies.   Cathy was a member of the Bethlehem Christian Church and previously served on the New Washington Fire Department Auxiliary.  Cathy was a TEAL GEM with Ovar’coming Together, always supporting their fundraising and research in any way she was able.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, James Cochran; her children, Ashley Nacole Fouts (Keith), Jacob Allen Fouts (Katie), and Raven Jo Cochran (Tim); her siblings, Mary Coin, Robert Wilson, Susan Estes, Helen Cunningham, Elizabeth Nokes, Joan Miles, Marilyn Roth, and Carolyn Wilson; and her beloved grandchildren, Kaydance, Graceland, Jase, and Kodi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Linda Derrickson, Marty Wilson, and Paul Wilson.

Life Celebration services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN. beginning at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
