Carinne (Kelly) Gilbert

Carinne Gilbert, 95, of Marysville, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Hickory Creek-Scottsburg.  She was born on October 31, 1925 in Warren County, KY to James and Betsy Lively Kelly.

Mrs. Gilbert was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Marysville, IN and was a former telephone operator in Owensboro, KY and a loving wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 58 years, M. Cornell Gilbert whom she worked side by side with on the farm, their infant daughter, Betty Ann; her brother, James Henry Kelly Jr. and her sister, Elizabeth Banton.

Mrs. Gilbert is survived by her sons, Harold (Andrea) Gilbert of Marysville and Leon (Debbie) Gilbert of Marysville;  daughters, Becky (Scott) Stephans of West Harrison, IN and Patricia (Jeff) Gill of Prospect, KY, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Life Celebration  Services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday February 20, 2021 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with a private burial at Emmanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday. 

The family requests that contributions in Mrs. Gilbert's memory be made to the Emmanuel Church Cemetery Fund in care of Gardella Richards at 17201 Fry Road, Otisco, IN 47163.
