Betty was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, and she touched the lives of all who knew her.
She was born March 5, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away on July 7, 2021 in Florida. She attended Cincinnati Public Schools, studied voice at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and later earned a degree in technical writing from Brevard Community College. She was married to her husband, Robert G. Holloway, Sr. for 59 years. For many years Betty and Bob owned and ran the B & C Sporting Goods shop in Satellite Beach, Florida. Betty was active in the Protestant Chapel at Patrick Air Force Base and added her gifted voice to the choir.
Betty is survived by her daughters Victoria C. (Paul) Werth of Battle Ground, Washington; Bonita K. Ross of Winter Springs, Florida; Gayle A. (Jay) Duncombe of West Melbourne, Florida; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her sister Doris A. (Harry) Kleinschmidt of Carrollton, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Holloway, Sr., her son Robert G. Holloway, Jr., her parents Otto and Frances Lillian “Lil” Hurst, and her brother James J. Hurst.

Services will be held at Bethlehem Community Church (216 Bell Street) in Bethlehem, Indiana at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Lunch will be served in the church fellowship hall after the interment.
