Bettie Ann (Kendrick) Meredith

Bettie Ann Meredith, 92 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.  She was born on February 1, 1930, to the late Woodrow and Quintus (Patterson) Kendrick in Gregory, KY.  Bettie retired from the ICI Americas plant, and she then began enjoying quilting, gardening, reading, traveling, bowling, spending time with her family and loved to cook.  She was known by all as Mamaw Bettie and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Bettie is survived by her sons, Bill (Deborah) Meredith of Charlestown, Jerry (Barbara) Meredith of Charlestown, and Michael Meredith of New Albany, IN; her sister-in-law, Sonja Kendrick; grandchildren, Missy Meredith, Tracy (Russell) Lentz, Decimber Smith, Nicole (Travis) Twigg, Bill Meredith, and Eric Meredith; greatgrandchildren, Dylan Hebner, Emmerson Meredith, Dara Smith, Jase Smith, Julia Lentz, Isaac Lentz and Parker Twigg

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald Meredith, and her siblings.

Life Celebration services for Bettie Meredith will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Grayson Funeral home in Charlestown.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday from 9:00 am until service time of 11:00 am also at the funeral home. 

Burial will follow at Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown.
