Vayola Fern (Worrall) Johns

Vayola Fern Worrall Johns, 74 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Monday July 8, 2019 at New Albany Health and Rehab.

Vayola was born on September 9, 1944 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Johnny and Fern Mitchell Grimes.  She was a housewife and member of North Charlestown Church of God in Charlestown, IN.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Cecil B. Johns; step-daughter, Jennie Baird; brothers, Hal and Kenneth Worrall.

Survivors include her daughter, Joni Massey of Sellersburg, IN; sisters, Neva Butler of Sellersburg and Sherrie Renee Hopkins of Lavonia, GA; step daughter, Vanessa Flynn of Somerset, KY; step-son, Johnny Ray Grimes of Charlestown, IN; half-brothers, Dallas Grimes of Otisco, IN and Johnny Grimes of Florida; half-sister, Gayle Grimes of Charlestown; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday.
