Rita Arlene Colvin

Rita Arlene Colvin 85, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday April 22, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Rita was born on October 21, 1933 in Webster, KY to Otis and Gladys Norton Johnson.  She was a retired Machine Operator for Brockway Plastics in Jeffersonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Colvin; Sr; son, Alvin Colvin, Jr; and daughter, JoAnn Watson.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Arlene Watson of Charlestown; grandson, Ronnie Watson, Jr. (Tonya) of Sellersburg, IN; son-in-law, Ronnie Watson, Sr., of Jeffersonville; great grandchildren, Andrew Watson, Morgan Watson, John Watson, II and Brooke Watson Frazier; great great grandson, Arlo Collins, sisters, Carolyn Owens of Charlestown; Iris Jean Copeland of Florida; Mae Vetter of Jeffersonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday April 27, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 pm to 8 pm on Friday and after 9 am on Saturday.
