Norman Smith Obituary

Norman B. Smith 80, of Otisco, IN passed away on Monday April 9, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

He was born July 13, 1937 in Nelson County, KY to Ernest A. and Mary Brown Smith. He was a member of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #226 in Charlestown, IN, retired electrician with the I.B.E.W. Union Local #369, member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and enjoyed collecting antique cars and tractors. He enjoyed his passion of farming and was a huge IU fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Nancy L. Hamm and a brother Harold Smith; daughter-in-law, Theresa Armstrong Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Kieran Medley Smith; sons, Gary W. Smith (Gwen) of Henryville, IN and Bryan T. Smith of Willisburg, KY; daughter, Sharon L. Neal of Otisco; brother, Keith Smith of Jeffersonville; sister, Wilma Nelson of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Emily Johnson (Tim), Craig Smith, Brad Neal (Casey), Jason Neal, Stephen Neal, Brandon Smith and Jordan Smith (Hannah); great grandchildren, Larissa, Layne, Cooper, Katie, Liam and Miles.

In accordance with his wishes cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is handling the arrangements.
