Miles Akira Usui

Miles Akira Usui, 72 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Saturday February 24, 2018 at his home.

Miles was born on June 24, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Paul Tatsuo Usui and Mary Hattori Usui.  He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired Elementary Special Education Teacher for the Los Angeles County Schools in California and a member of the Sunnyside Assembly of God Church in Jeffersonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joyce Teruko Matsuura.

He is survived by his brothers, Wayne Usui (Dawn) of Charlestown, IN and Mark Usui (Vivien) of Rollings Hills, CA; nieces and nephews, Jill Fellows (Scott), Anne Davidson (Rex), Lynn Mendez (Oscar), Jeffrey Usui, Ryan Usui, Brent Usui and Matthew Usui.

Visitation will be held at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday March 2, 2018.  Burial will be in California.
