Mary Ann (Whelan) Wyne

Mary Ann Wyne, 67 of Jeffersonville, IN loving mother of Chris Bewley passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Mary Ann was born on December 27, 1950 in Vine Grove, KY the daughter of John Lamar and Mildred French Whelan. She retired from the Human Resource Dept. at Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, IN after several years of service. Mary Ann was a member of the Saluda, IN Order of the Eastern Star, Sew and Tell Quilt Guild, Hanover Homemakers Club. She was an avid reader, seamstress, quilter, dancing especially with her husband to good old rock in roll, traveling, beaches and listening to her granddaughter Whitney and her husband, David in the music group  Midnight Noon.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracey Carter and her husband Roy of Lexington, IN; sister, Patti Durbin and her husband Roger of Charlestown, IN; brothers, John L. Whelan Jr. of Vine Grove, KY and Charlie M. Whelan and his wife Deborah of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Whitney Campbell and her husband David, Katelyn Hamilton; several nieces and nephews and her cat Miss Kitty. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Garrold Wyne; son, Chris Bewley and sister, Millie Whelan.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 1:00 P.M. until the time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mary Ann may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,Carmel Cemetery Association, or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
