Jessie Pauline Zimmerman

Jessie Pauline Zimmerman,91 of Charlestown passed away on Tuesday September 25, 2018 at Diversicare-Providence in New Albany, IN.

She was born on October 23, 1926 in Bardstown, KY to Obie and Viola Maud Frazier Stevens.  She was the co-owner of the Zimmerman’s IGA Store in Charlestown.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Zimmerman.

Survivors include her daughters Becky Zimmerman of Charlestown and Vicky Minns (Jack) of Charlestown; a sister Virginia Couch of Glendale, KY; a granddaughter Tracy Gaines; 2 great granddaughters Lindsey Blackwell and Erin Blackwell; several nieces and nephews, and one great-great granddaughter on the way.

Life Celebration services will be held on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial to follow in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am until the time of the service.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Providence Activities Department or the WHAS Crusade for Children.
