So, here I am over a year late. Jack and I have not had occasion to talk in a few years and we were just about to send him a Christmas card when I decided to call him first only to find this. Jack and I were best buds in law school and I'm not sure I would have made it through without him as a study partner. He was a warrior in every endeavor he undertook and he "sucked the marrow" out of every moment. About life, he said "this ain't no trial run" and so he lived to experience it to the full. Jack had compassion on those in need -- he loved big and there was NOTHING he would not do to help a friend. I am better for having known him. My (very late) sympathies to Tommy and his family.

Jack was my neighbor for more than 20 years, but I really didn't get to know him well until the latter of those. He generously defended a son when he received an unjust violation as a young driver. Then, years later, when tragedy struck, he was there freely offering his services to me as a widow, helping me with all the legalities. He was so full of life and relentless in his pursuit of adventure despite his health problems. He just refused to give in to those limitations. I wish I had known him better for all those years. Thank you for your service, Jack.

I had the pleasure of being Jack' s neighbor for 30 years and always enjoyed attending his parties.
I was shocked to learn of his passing - it has just been a few short months since he moved away.
I will miss him and pray for him.

Such heartbreaking news for me. Jack was a wonderful friend to me and my whole family. He was one of my Daddy's all time best friends and Jack continued to show his love to the rest of us after Daddy's death. I just cannot express how much I appreciated how good he always was to us and how much he will be missed. Jack was a wonderful man and I hope we meet up in Heaven.

Jack and I shared a very similar path into becoming a lawyer. He was an excellent soldier, attorney, family man and friend to me. I will always cherish our conversations and his mentorship.

Jack was my best friend and I could write a book about His generosity, Kindness, Strength of character, love of life and his many adventures. Even after his 75th birthday he was still whitewater rafting the rapids of the Ocoee River, Snow Sking in the Alps of Switzerland'and Europe Power Boating, Jet Sking, and Racing Go Carts.
Jack was a People Person and loved to invite friends over to watch Braves Baseball, Falcon Football, or just to visit. His Favorite Toast Was "FRIENDSHIP!"
Jack was a Man's Man and a wonderfull example of Self Disipline. He got his Law Degree and Passed the Bar after His career as a Caption in the Army Elite Air Bourn Parachute Division.
He is still Beloved by Many and will always be Remembered by all.
I Pray We will see Him Again in Heaven.
