Helen Marie (Clapp) Arnett

 Marie Arnett, 89 of Memphis, IN passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, IN.

Marie was born on November 30, 1929 in Clark County, IN the daughter of Orville and Jessie Miles Clapp. She worked at the former I.C.I Americas, Squire Boone Caverns and as a Monitor on the special needs bus for West Clark School System. Marie enjoyed many things in her life including family, friends, sewing, cross stitch and crochet.

Marie is survived by her grandchildren, Joe Heuser and his wife Flo of Stafford, VA., Melissa Hall and her husband Roger of Henryville, IN, Brian Emerson of Memphis, IN and Josh Emerson of Sellersburg, IN; great-grandchildren, Austin, Collin, Devon, Christopher, Rhealyn, Nicole, Torrie and Gabbie; great-great-grandchilden, Izzy, Emery, Elijah and Kayden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy Arnett Jr., daughters, Teresa Poulter and Pam Emerson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday until the time of services.
