Edward "Dick" Bolton

Edward “Dick” Bolton, 80 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Dick was born on April 12, 1937 in Central City, KY the son of Heaverin Earl and Corine Dennis Bolton. He retired after 30 plus years at General Electric in Louisville, Ky. He was a Kentucky Colonel, enjoyed trains, Antiques, was Mr. Fix it and he loved his family especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Bottorff Bolton; children, Stephanie Boseker and her husband Chad of Jeffersonville, Kyra Stephens and her husband Rick of Charlestown and Kevin Sampson of Marysville, IN; grandchildren, Zachary, Hayden, Brandon, Brittany, Josh, Ariel, Corey and Kayla; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William Bolton; sisters, Bettie Bolton, Margaret Grace, Alberta Kelley and Nell Lee Crowley.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services on Monday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Amedisys Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
