Christine Baker

Christine Baker, 95 of Charlestown, IN passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, IN.

She was born on April 6 ,1924 in Somerset, KY. to Jonathan and Mandy (Whitis) Lovins.  Christine was a home maker and a member of the North Charlestown Church of God.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Homer Baker; brothers Clarence and Delbert Lovins; and her sister, Mary Heath.

Christine is survived by her sons, R.C. Baker (Norma), Kenneth Baker (Francine) and Robert Baker (Linda) and her daughter, Janet Wright. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Maple Manor for their loving care of our loved one.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation for Christine Baker will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Friday morning from 9:00 am until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

 Burial will follow in the Charlestown Cemetery
