Carmen L Blevins

Carmen L. Blevins, 50 of New Albany, IN passed away on Sunday August 18, 2019 at her home.

She was born on March 27, 1969 in New Albany to Bennie and Janet Hines Griffin.  She was a loving housewife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of the Living Waters House of Prayer Church in Charlestown, IN and enjoyed visiting the Smokey Mountains.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Constance Hutter.

Carmen is survived by her husband, Donald Blevins, Sr., sons, Donald Blevins, Jr., (Charli) of Marysville, IN, Matthew Blevins (Heather) of Clarksville, IN and Timothy Blevins of New Albany; grandchildren, Jessalynn Blevins, Dalton Blevins, Dillon Blevins and Delilah Blevins; brothers, Edward Griffin and Leathel Griffin both of New Albany; sisters, Patricia Griffin of Leavenworth, IN and Harmaletta Lilly of Elizabethtown, KY.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday August 24, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 pm to 8 pm on Friday and after 9 am on Saturday.
