Betty Ann (Bowyer) Baird

Betty Ann Baird, 85, of Marysville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Davis Elderly Care in Chelsea, IN.

She was born on February 12, 1932 to Robert and Ora Grace (Abbott) Bowyer in Clark Co., IN. She was a member of the New Market Christian Church. She always loved working in her gardens, and working on the family farm. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Glen Baird; brothers, Evan Bowyer, Ralph “Bud” Bowyer, and Lloyd Bowyer; sister, Audrey Akers.

Survivors include her sons, Richard G. Baird of Marysville, IN and Gary A. Baird of Marysville, IN; grandchildren, Brian Baird of Marysville, IN, Stuart Baird of Nabb, IN, Michelle Campbell of Marysville, IN, Candace Herald of Marysville, IN, and Jared Baird of Lake Villa, IL; 10 great-grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Lula Jones of Marysville, IN; brother-in-law’s, George Baird of Madison, IN, and Jim Baird of Marysville, IN.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial to follow in the Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Friday.
