Albert Porzig, JR Obituary

Albert James Porzig. Jr., 89 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital.

Mr. Porzig was born on February 1, 1930 in Louisville, KY the son of Albert J. and Eloise Agnes Knoerr Porzig Sr. He retired after several years of service with the United States Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Jeffersonville, IN. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include his son, Glenn Porzig and his wife Carly of Jeffersonville, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday September 3, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm on Tuesday.
