Dishman, Wendell Lee, of Charlestown, IN, passed away suddenly on November 25, 2017, at Clark Rehabilitation Center. Born on July 24, 1948 to Loyd and Flossie Dishman in Monticello, KY. Preceded in death by his loving wife Judy (nee Eskew) [2013], and brothers Gary [1968, at 3 months], Dallas (Nan) [2013] and Dean (Mary) [2015]. Wendell is survived by three daughters: Wendy, Saundra, and Bethany Annechino [Anthony]; one son Eddy[Crystal]; and brothers Wedsel [Ilene], Ted [Mary], Robert [JoAnn], Donald [Cathy], Terry, Jerry, and a sister, Carol Booher; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Private cremation was performed under the direction of Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN. Wendell was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 440 of Indiana. He and his wife were baptized on July 22, 1977 as Jehovah’s Witnesses, and attended the Charlestown congregation until Judy’s death in 2013. A memorial talk will be held at the Charlestown Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 12421 IN-62, Charlestown, on December 17th, 2017 at 1 pm. A private repast will be held for family and friends immediately afterward.
