Mary Jo (Myers) Cain

Mary Jo Cain, 75 of Marysville, IN passed away on May 26, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital.

She was born on January 23, 1942 in Clark County, IN to J. W. and Bertha Hart Myers.  She was a retired manager for the United States Census Bureau and was a member of the old Owen Creek Presbyterian Church and New Hope Community Church.  She was a loving mother, wife, sister and loyal friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Brenda Jeffries.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years John H. Cain; son, David Cain of Marysville; daughters, Bobbi Jo Cain and Jennifer Kennedy both of Marysville; brothers, Steve Myers (Yong Suk) of Charlestown, IN and Randall Louis Myers of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters, Anita Falls (H.B) of Springfield, MO and Phyllis Nevitt (Thomas) of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Jordan, Nicholas, Kennedy and Samuel Cain, Lauren and Mitchell Kennedy and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday June 3, 2017 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Friday and after 9 am on Saturday.
