John "Dickie" Brock

John “Dickie” Brock Sr., 76 of Otisco, IN passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Kentuckianna Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.

Dickie was born on March 1, 1941 in Harrison County, IN the son of Charles and Bertha Zurschmeide Brock. He was retired from the Ford Motor Company Plant in Louisville, KY. He was a member of the House of Refuge Church in Nabb, IN, Mussel Loaders Club, NRA, Saddle Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing especially square dancing.

Survivors include his daughters, Karen Brock of Nabb, IN and Brenda Brock of Otisco, IN; sons, Charlie Brock(Kim) of Charlestown and John Brock Jr. of Otisco, IN; sister, Joann Minzie of Palmyra, IN; grandchildren, Lee Clapp, Nikkii Bird, Heather Brock-Henley(Chase), Courtney Brock, Devon Brock, Alex Brock, Dustin Crawford and Megan Crawford; great-grandchildren, Matthew, September, Hailey, Peyton, Christian and Serenity. Dickie was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Doris Brock; brothers, Earl and Charles; sisters, Norma, Martha, Pearl, Betty and Linda.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial in Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Brock may take the form of donations to the House of Refuge Church.
