Dorothea "Dot" (Scholl) Park

Dorothea “Dot” Park, 90, of Memphis, IN, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at her home.

She was born on April 9, 1927 to John and Martha (Townsend) Scholl in Memphis, IN. She worked for IMCO Container if Jeffersonville, IN for 32 years, she enjoyed sewing and baking, and was a member of the Memphis Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin “Bus” Park; son, Ronald Park; daughter-in-law, B.J. Park.

Survivors include her son, James Park (Sharon) of Memphis, IN; brothers, Carl Scholl of DeMotte, IN, David Scholl of Henryville, IN, Arnold Scholl of Washington, Frank Scholl of Washington, Charles Scholl of Sellersburg, IN, Jim Scholl of IN, and Richard Scholl of IN; sisters, Lois Bryant of Magnet, IN, and Betty Scholl of IN; grandchildren, Sherri Terry of North Vernon, IN, Adam McCartney of Memphis, IN, Nathan Park of New Albany, IN, Chrissy Park-Browalski of Brownstown, IN, and Jimmy Park of Memphis, IN; 4 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Thursday.
