Diana Pacey

Diana Pacey, 75 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday, September, 8, 2017 at Rolling Hills Health Care in New Albany, IN.

Diana was born on July 13, 1942 in New Albany, IN the daughter of Paul H. and Inez Catherine Cole Maymon Sr. She was retired after 23 years at the United Census Bureau in Jeffersonville. Diana was a member of the First Baptist Church in Charlestown, enjoyed doll collecting, gardening, yard sales, reading and the love of her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years Arthur Pacey of Charlestown; daughter, Karen Owens and her companion Charles of Jeffersonville; son, Stephen Pacey and his wife Brenda of Charlestown; sisters, Paula Tungate of Sebring, FL, Judy Ferry of New Albany, Vicky Caudill of Sellersburg and Cathy Sheehan of Charlestown; brothers, Paul H. Maymon Jr. of Georgetown and Douglas D. Maymon of Greenville, IN; 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Cheyenne, Christopher, Keenan and Aaren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Theresa Williams and son-in-law Lamonte Owens.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown and on Monday after 9:00 A.M. at the church. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Pacey may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
