Anita was my oldest friend. She was the first person I met when we moved to Charlestown from Detroit when we were only three. We started school together, graduated together and started families around the same time. She brought her children to visit at our farm in Corydon to play and enjoy the farm animals and to swim in the pond. Our family will miss her greatly. She was a beautiful individual and a good friend. We offer our condolences to her family.

I love this woman so much, and will miss her forever. I know how much all of her family loves her, and I imagine anyone that ever met her loves her and will miss her also. She was tough, strong, and someone I looked up to. Knowing her has made me stronger in many ways, and I feel as though she knew that! To all of her family -- remember all of those great, happy, loving times you got to spend with her, and each other. I am so sad for you all....
