Mrs. Montgomery is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Perry, Charlestown; sons, Steve Montgomery, Henryville and Mitchell Montgomery, Jeffersonville; a sister, Ann Lucas, Mansfield, OH; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Darlene B. Brading February 21, 2008; brother, Elmer Brading; sisters, Beulah Edmons and Melvina Craig. Mr. Brading was a retired carpenter with Local Union #631 and formerly work for Jeff Boat, A & P, Kroger and enjoyed Farming. He also was a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII. Survivors include his daughter, Brenda C. Consley, Hanover; son, Jerry Allan Brading, Jeffersonville, IN; brother, David Brading, Louisville; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Dorothy Adelaide Reed of New Washington, IN formerly of Georgetown, MA were held on Wednesday February 13th, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington. Visitation was on Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Ms. Reed passed away Sunday at St. Catherine Regional Hospital. She was a native of Dorchester, MA. She was the first School Lunch Supervisor at the Georgetown schools, and then supervised the Longmeadow schools lunch program, retiring in 1982. She was president of the Massachusetts School Lunch Association from 1966-67. Mrs. Reed can be remembered for her summers at Camp Leslie, Camp Rotary, and Camp Moy-Mo-Da-Yo where she served up man meals for hungry campers. Having a "green thumb" she was surrounded with beautiful gardens and rose bushes and shared this gift with all her friends. She attended the Congregational Church in Massachusetts. She was proceeded in death by her dear husband Frank E. Reed, her parents Robert Daly and Elizabeth Nagel, sisters Betty Lohnes, Elenor "Nunny" Reed, and brothers Earl Daly, Buddy Daly, and Richard Daly. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter with whom she lived during the last eight years of her life, Jacqueline Bowen of New Washington, IN and two sons Robert F. Reed and his wife Janis of Groton, CT, and Donald B. Reed and his wife Corrine of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; a sister Marion Deroo of Marblehead, MA, and a brother Franklin Daly of North Kingston, RI; 14 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren from California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Burial took place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington. Visitation was on Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and after 8:00 AM on Saturday. Mrs. Boyer passed away Thursday, January 3, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William E. Boyer and a daughter Judith Ann. For 32 years Mildred and her husband owned and operated the Boyer Locker Plant in New Washington. For over a half century she was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Washington and also an avid quilt maker and gardner. She is survived by her children Carol Hoppus, Jan Boyer and William A. Boyer; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Army veteran, member of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #276, Order of the Eastern Star Blazing Bright Lodge #597 and Ancient Accepted Scotish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. Survivors include son Fred Eugene Bush; daughters, Stephanie Atkins, Leslie Ingram, Tina Davenport, Brenda Jones, Deborah Fraze and Teresa Denney; brother Frank Harvey; sisters, Christine Scruggs and Bertha Noe; eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Survivors include daughters, Judy Hall (Carl) and Barbara Hill (Johnnie); seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Newman was retired from Clark Memorial Hospital in the shipping and receiving department and was a navy veteranand was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife the former Martha Bare, sons, Dwayne Newman of Scottsburg and Jonathan Newman of Lexington, sisters, Fran Watkins and Carolyn Willinger, and brothers, Eugene and Gary Newman.

He is survivied by his wife the former Helen Henry, sons James (Nancy) and Richard Burke (Susan) both of Charlestown, a brother Glenn Burke of Madison, IN and a sister, Erlene Wehner of Hanover, IN, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandsons.
