Stranger in Our House: A Family Faces Breast Cancer
 by Chris Grayson

From the publisher

The pain of this story belongs to Karen and Chris Grayson, their children and friends, and the many millions who have faced or are facing breast cancer. It is a memorable portrayal of a woman who has demonstrated the heroism necessary to stare defiantly down the throat of an attaching intruder. Above all, the book discusses breast cancer with an unflinching honesty. It's a topic too important to ignore, and too painful to postpone until it becomes urgent in your life.

Honest look at life's difficulties
Chris Grayson does a tremendous job of presenting the difficulties that he endured during his wife's diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. He wrote with such refreshing honesty that I often caught myself getting angry, feeling relieved, etc. right along with him. There are many books out there about breast cancer that were written for the patient, but very few written from the spouse's point of view - this book helps fill that void.
